alam ko pag student at less than 18 years old ay kailangan pa rin kasama ang parents? not sure. kasi yung kakilala ko ay sinamahan sya ng parents nya.

hanggat di pa nag-closed yung account mo, pwede pa hulugan. punta ka sa branch ng Metrobank kung saan ka nag-open ng account at itanong mo kung active pa yung account mo.

@juleen, try mo birth certificate din. maintindihan nila siguro yan kasi fresh grad ka pa lang at di ka pa naka-apply ng mga government ids like SSS. Voter’s ID, ok din yun.
pag sa work naman, pag yung employer mo ang nag-open ng account for you, malamang payroll account yun. pag payroll account, walang maintaining balance.
@anna, closed na yung account mo. kung may interest man yun, ibabawas sa laman ng account mo. since walang laman ang account mo, malamang na-closed na lang nila.
@she, same kayo ni juleen. try mo din magbigay ng birth certificate with ID.

pag at least 6 months na di mo nagamit ang ATM mo, baka inactive na yun. punta ka sa website nila at pwede ka tumawag sa customer support nila para makapag-inquire. alam ko may toll free silang contact number. punta ka sa website ng metrobank.
@gilda, ang alam ko accredited ng paypal ang metrobank. At least 2 government IDs ang requirement nila. pero try mo yang postal id and brgy. clearance. punta ka lang sa pinakamalapit na branch at feel free to ask questions to the New Account staff.
@joan, di ko po sure kung magkano ang interest for every amount of savings. di ko alam kung ilang percent ang interest nila. inquire ka na lang sa customer support nila. alam ko may toll free silang contact number. punta ka sa website ng metrobank para makita mo yung contact numbers nila.
@ulyleen, alam ko after a week or two ay makukuha mo na ang ATM mo pag nakapag-open ka ng Savings Account with ATM.

di po ako sure kung pwede mag-open ng account yung husband mo in your behalf. kasi ang alam ko ay kailangan ng personal appearance at 2 valid government IDs. pero kung may check na nakapangalan sa’yo, pwede mo naman ipa-encash yan sa bank para mapalitan ng cash at pwede mo ipadala sa family mo sa Pinas.

i’m not sure about the Euro account. please go to the nearest Metrobank branch in your place and feel free to approach the New Account staff and ask your concerns.

normally, if it’s a payroll account, then your company/employer will be the one to process account opening for you. you just need to submit photocopy of your company ID or one government ID with signature to your employer. so i think 2 valid IDs requirements do not apply.

alam ko, 2,000 pesos ang minimum deposit talaga for savings account with ATM sa metrobank. try mo sa ibang banks. parang mayron yata sa BPI at sa BanKo. di ko sure.

hi sir kinuha ko po ung 2k na laman sa metrobank atm ko nung nov.13,2012 wala pa pong isang buwan close na po ba yun? dun pa naman sana ihuhulog ung tax refund ko sa US. pwde pa po ba itransfer refund ko sa account ko?thanks po

open pa yun kasi sandali lang naman. yung account ko, minsan inuubos ko din laman pero di ko pinapatagal.
punta ka lang sa nearest metrobank branch at try mong lagyan ng laman. sasabihin naman nila kung closed na at di na pwedeng lagyan. pero i’m sure open pa yun.

i think initial deposit is the same with individual account. For joint account, two people should be present and both should sign the signature card (specimen signature). IDs are also needed.

Binanggit ko sa post ko ang requirements. Mga 1 to 2 weeks ko nakuha yung ATM ko nung nag-apply ako. May interest naman kaso maliit lang talaga pag sa bank. Di ko alam kung ilang percent. Ask mo yung new account staff pag nag-open ka ng account.

Minimum initial deposit po ay 2,000 pesos lang for ATM (It also serves as debit card kasi pwede sya gamitin pambili sa mga groceries).
