I would like to give some helpful tips for everyone who plans to apply for a new passport or plans to renew a passport to avoid fixers. Nowadays, there are still a lot of fixers when you apply for or renew a passport in the Philippines. Here are the important tips:
1. Make sure that you know the new office of DFA. It’s located at ASEANA Business Park, Bradco Avenue corner Macapagal Boulevard, Paranaque City.
2. If you plan to ride in a jeepney from MRT Taft to DFA office, make sure to ride in a jeepney going to DFA New Office. There are still jeepneys who will mislead you because they’ll tell you that they’ll take you to the DFA office. But the truth is that they’ll take you to the old DFA office. It’s DFA Office but not the new one.
3. Do you know why there are jeepneys from MRT Taft that will mislead you? It’s because when they take you to the Old DFA Office, they might earn commissions from the fixers. Never ever ride in a jeep that will NOT take you to the new DFA Office because there are a lot of fixers in the Old DFA Office .
If you have experience with the fixers in the old DFA office, please leave a comment here so other people will not be the next victim of these fixers in the Old DFA Office.
Thanks,
Ben Millionaire

Here are the 2 simplest steps that you might want to follow to manage your money that will make you happy everyday:
1. Save only 2% of your net income.
Just save 2% of your net income and name this as your financial friend. This serves as your contingency fund. This serves as your friend. When you’re running out of cash, your financial friend will lend you money. But make sure to pay your loan at your financial friend as soon as you can.
2% is a big amount of money when you will save it continuously in a span of 5 years or more. This is the lightest and happiest way to make sure that you’re spending less than you earn.
2. Spend the 98% of your net income.
98% is a very big amount. You can use it to any or all of the following purposes:
- give money to your family
- invest money (like real estate, business, etc.)
- give money to your favorite charities
- give money to church
- buy your personal stuffs
- use your money to travel to different places
- save it and buy your car or house
- pay your bills
- others (you can specify more purposes here)
Feel free leave any comments about this subject.

Last August 2011, I inquired about the requirements of opening checking account at BDO Philippines. The customer service staff told me that you need to have existing BDO savings account to qualify for opening checking account. If you have existing BDO savings account, they will check your current balance and your transaction history on it. They will approve your request to open a checking account if you qualify the criteria based on the current balance and transaction history of your savings account. I just don’t know what the criteria are. They will also ask your purpose of opening new account. When you they approve your request, you will be given two options for opening your checking account. One option is to link your existing BDO Savings account to your checking account. Another option is to open a new checking account.
That’s my experience when I inquired about opening checking account at BDO Philippines. Feel free to leave a comment if you have questions or additional details about opening checking account at BDO Philippines.

Wherever you go, you must always bring a notebook (even small notebook) and a pen. Whenever you think a good idea, write it on your notebook. At the end of the day, review your ideas. Your best idea might be there.
Successful people became successful because they thought of a very unique idea. You, too, can think of a unique idea that’s not yet available on Earth. That unique and best idea will bring you to your coveted dreams.

“Back to reality” is what most employees say when they get back to office after a long vacation. It means that they’re back to their normal day to day activities. Go to work, sleep, go to work, sleep, and wait for the paycheck.
I’m an employee today but I’m executing my plans to be a millionaire soon. I want to buy my house and lot, marry the woman I love, buy my car, and earn money even when I sleep. When that happens, I will give my time to family, church, playing sports, meeting old and new friends, and help less fortunate people. For the mean time, I keep my plans confidential. If it didn’t work, I’ll try my another plan. If it didn’t work again, I’ll try another plan until I find the best plan that will work. I believe that “A winner never quits, a quitter never wins”. I believe I am the winner because I never quit to think and execute my plans to achieve my definite goals.

You might be wondering why I have a “Ben Millionaire Daily Thank You” category on this blog. It’s because being grateful everyday makes me feel good.
Try to think of things that you are grateful for everyday. It will make you feel good. If you always feel good, more good things will happen to you.
If someone did good things to you, be grateful.
If someone did bad things to you, still be grateful. Be grateful for you were given an opportunity on how to eliminate anger against those people who did bad things to you.
If someone gave you a thing even very simple thing, be grateful.
Be grateful everyday. It will make you feel good like how I feel everyday.

Anger is a success barrier.
Eliminating anger is one of the keys to success.
Most of the people might know this idea but they’re having a hard time to eliminate anger against someone who did something bad to them. We should learn to forgive. I used to have a hard time to eliminate anger but now I was able to break this success barrier.
If you can break this success barrier, you’ll have a very happy and successful life.
