Week #20 Year 2010 Ben Millionaire Experience – Shopping At Divisoria in the Philippines

Sunday, May 23rd, 2010

On May 16, 2010, I watched “Here Comes the Bride” in SM Mega Mall. It’s a very nice movie. It helped me to remove stress because I kept on laughing while watching the movie.

From May 17, 2010 to May 21, 2010, I worked in the office. We’re not too busy this week because our project is about to end by May 31, 2010. I took online trainings in the office. I enhanced my skills in Java while no tasks assigned to me.

On May 22, 2010, my high school friends were inviting me for a dinner in Trinoma. However, I refused to join them because I felt very tired in the evening. I started shopping at Divisoria at 10AM. I left Divisoria at 3:00PM. I arrived home at 3:30PM. I decided to take rest than to join my friends in Trinoma. I asked my high school friends to schedule another bonding time and I told them that I can’t go with them because it’s a very short notice. I was not able to include that bonding time in my calendar.

Week #19 Year 2010 Ben Millionaire Experience – Election in the Philippines for the Year 2010

Saturday, May 15th, 2010

Last May 09, 2010, I woke up early in the morning. I left my boarding house in Brgy. Highway Hills and I went to Cubao, Quezon City. I rode in a bus going to Alaminos, Pangasinan and Bolinao, Pangasinan. The bus left Cubao at exactly 9:30AM. When the bus stopped at Socony, Bugallon, Pangasinan, I got out of the bus. My father was waiting for me in Socony. I rode in my father’s motorcycle and he took me home and we arrived at 2:00PM . :)

When I arrived home, my mother was very happy. She hugged and kissed me. She really loves me so much. :) From 3PM until 6PM, my father and I had a long conversation. We covered different topics but our major topic is all about business. He has many businesses in mind but he could not start it for lack of capital. He expects me to help. I told him that we could be business partners. He also asked to renovate our house. I agreed to what he suggested. For now, I’m doing my best to help my parents. I want them to be happy while they’re alive. I know that they’ll not live in this world forever. So while they’re alive, I am doing my best to make them happy. Doing the things that they’ve never experienced before. I want to show them my love and respect.

We slept early on May 09, 2010.

On May 10, 2010, I woke up early in the morning. It’s the time to vote. My father and I went to Rosario Elementary School in Barangay Rosario, Lingayen, Pangasinan. It’s the first automated election in the Philippines. We arrived in the school at 6:50AM. We expected that voting will start at 7AM. However, the election started at 7:40AM due to PCOS (Precinct Count Optical Scan) machine problem. I was able to vote at 10:30AM because senior citizens were prioritized.

Week #17 Year 2010 Ben Millionaire Experience – Enjoying short vacation in Brgy. Rosario, Lingayen, Pangasinan

Sunday, May 2nd, 2010

From Monday to Wednesday, I worked hard and long in the office. I had another experience in communicating with our foreign counterparts through email. Whenever I communicate with our foreign counterparts, I feel very good because it’s an opportunity to develop my communication skills and to show them that I’m doing my best to contribute in our tasks.

From Thursday to Friday, I was on vacation leave. On Thursday morning, I went to Pangasinan. I stayed in Pangasinan until Saturday. I filed a two-day vacation leave to attend the wedding of my cousin and to spend time with my family. Whatever happens and no matter how busy I am, I always find time to spend with my family. In my business and professional life, my family is my number one (primary) client. They’re my priority.

On Friday morning, I attended the wedding of my cousin Leonardo De Leon Jr. I was chosen as best man. It’s a great pleasure that they chose me as best man. It shows that I’m part of their family, that they have trust on me and they’d like me as their close friend. Having many friends is a sign that I’m a friendly person.

On Friday evening, I went to Lingayen Capitol Ground with my father, my mother, and with our friends namely Ronald delos Santos and his family and friends. We stayed their for about 2 hours. Since it’s “Pistay Dayat 2010″ the next morning, there were so many people. There were orchestras playing music and there were many stalls that sell different products. I bought one piece of boiled corn and ate that corn while I was checking the other stalls.

On Saturday morning, I went to Portic, Bugallon, Pangasinan with my family and relatives. We were hoping that there’s a great place there where we can stay. Unfortunately, we were not able to find available resort there. We found one but it’s already reserved. So we decided to go to Binmaley, Pangasinan beach. I stayed there for about one to two hours. After that, I left my relatives there and I went back home to pack everything I need to bring in Metro Manila. At 3:30PM, I left our house. I arrived safe in Metro Manila at 9PM. There was heavy traffic in Tarlac so I didn’t arrive in Metro Manila early.

I had a very happy vacation. It’s worth it because I had time to spend with my family.

Last April 22, 2010, I finished reading “How To Become a CEO” book by Jeffrey Fox. I learned many tips from that book. When I finished reading it, I bought another book. I bought “21 Steps on how to start a business”. It’s my pastime to read books and I love reading Business books.

Week #15 Year 2010 Ben Millionaire Experience – Meeting the staffs of Project Absolute

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Last Thursday, April 15, 2010, I met my mastermind group. We discussed our new project. I’m very happy for they are working together in applying our plan for our goal. We’ll make Project Absolute a very successful company. For now, Project Absolute is just starting.

Project Absolute is my baby idea. I’ll make this company to be as great as Oracle, HP, Microsoft, Apple and other great companies out there. This baby idea will grow year after year. 25 years from now, this company will be recognized in the whole world. I’ll take care of this company. I’ll be persistent to make my goals happen. I’ll use the power of leverage to reach my goals in life.

Life without ambition or goal is not good. But the most important thing to do while executing the plans for your goal is to make the people around you happy. For me, if you want to be happy, you need to make other people happy.

Week #14 Year 2010 Ben Millionaire Experience – 4 Days Work and Meeting My Mastermind Group

Friday, April 9th, 2010

From April 05, 2010 to April to April 08, 2010, I worked hard in the office. Even though I was busy for the four consecutive days of work, I’m still happy for everyday I learn something new that enhances my skills in Java, Oracle, UNIX and Linux. I’m really productive whenever I feel good and happy. There are many challenges to face at work so I need to be strong and intelligent by always reading and enhancing my skills in programming.

On the night of April 08, 2010 at around 9:00PM, I met my mastermind group. I’m very happy because there’s one member added to my mastermind group. All of the members of my mastermind group are working closely and harmoniously to reach our definite goal. I assigned them tasks with definite ETC (Estimated Time to Complete).

I believe that I can be one of the greatest leaders on Earth. I’ll recognize my follower/s when they did something nice. I’ll never take the honor when they performed well. I’ll give the honor to my follower/s who really delivered high quality of service. I’ll show them that I’m courageous and I have the mastery of the details about what we do and what I ask them to do. I’ll also show them that I care for them. I’ll have sympathy for my followers. If my followers failed to do their task, I’ll consider that I am the one who failed. I’ll never blame any of my followers if something went wrong. I think the qualities I mentioned above are the great qualities of the best leader. :)
