First Time to Ride in an Airplane

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

June 02, 2010

At 12:45PM, the plane started to take off. Since it’s my first time, I felt nervous. I was seated near the window so I was able to see
how the plane took off. It’s really amazing. When we reached above the clouds, I felt that the airplane was not moving. It felt like it’s only floating above the clouds. After about 1 hour and 30 minutes, the plane started to land. I felt nervous again. I opened my eyes wide open to see how the plane lands. It’s perfect because the plane landed successfully. I arrived at Cagayan De Oro airport around 2:15PM.

Riding to an airplane for the first time is an unforgettable and nicest experience I had.

First Time in Philippine Airlines Domestic Airport – Manila (Posting My Blog When I Was In Philippine Airlines Domestic Airport)

Sunday, June 20th, 2010

Today, June 02, 2010 11:12AM, I’m here inside the domestic airport at the laptop station. It’s my first time here. A while ago, I asked one of the staffs here where is the gate for flight going to Cagayan De Oro. He said that it’s at Gate 5 (S5).I did not notice that it’s already indicated in my boarding pass. Hahaha… It’s obvious that it’s my first time here. This is one of my unforgettable experiences.

I was surprised here when I bought Fit’n Right Pineapple juice (330mL) drink. It costs 70 Philippine Peso (PHP). I think it only costs between 15(PHP) to 30(PHP) in the supermarket. It’s really expensive. Anyway, as a first timer, it’s really surprising.

What I appreciate here is that there are laptop stations where you can use your laptop. While waiting for the boarding time, I am blogging.

Here are the available wireless network detected by my laptop while I am waiting here in laptop station:

1. airborneaccess.tinderbox
2. PALNAIA2_WLAN
3. MIAAFreeWifiSWT2
4. manila
5. MASCFinance
6. MIAAFreeWifiNWT2
7. Apron_Wifi

There’s an American here who just asked me if there’s an internet connection. Unfortunately, I can’t even connect to the wireless networks available.

A Filipino guy sat beside me here in laptop station. He’s also asking me if I can connect to the internet. Most people here are upset because there’s no internet connection.

While I am at the airport, one of my co-workers in my new project on June 07 called me and talked about the commitment to our new project. I told him that I am willing to stay for at least six months in the project.

Looking Forward To One Week Vacation in Iligan City

Sunday, May 16th, 2010

On June 01, 2010, it will be my first time to ride in an airplane. It’s a domestic flight going to Cagayan de Oro. I’ll be attending the wedding of my girlfriend’s brother. I’m so excited to go there.

I’d like to thank Cebu Pacific Air for we were able to avail to their promo. I’ll be returning here in Metro Manila, Philippines on June 07, 2010 in the morning. After many months of continuous work in the office, my one week vacation leave was approved by my manager.

I’ll be taking many pictures from Iligan and I’ll post all the beautiful pictures on this blog. :)

Developing Burning Desire To Become Rich

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

When I was a child, I started to develop my burning desire to become rich. I was doing all my best in school hoping that someday I will become rich. I went to school to study and get high grades. I graduated as First Honor in Rosario Elementary School, Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines.

After my elementary school, my parents sent me to study in high school. The name of my school in high school is Pangasinan School of Arts and Trades (PSAT). It’s about 14 kilometers away from our house. I traveled everyday to go to school. I rode to Jeepney or tricycle to get to our school. I finished my high school and got the “Best Encoder of the Year” award. I got 96 GPA when I graduated in high school.

After high school, my parents sent me to Pangasinan State University to study in college. I took BS Computer Science. I maintained high grades in Mathematics and Computer subjects. I met people who really helped me to learn more about my course. I learned Linux, HTML, PHP, Oracle SQL and many more from my best friend Rolando J. Andico. I had a very nice experience when I was in college. My teacher Aileen V. Medina also advised what to do and what to study in order to get a nice job. Those people gave me inspiration to reach my goals in life. I’m very grateful until now and forever for I met those people who gave me inspirations.

When I see poor people, I always try to help them by giving them inspiration. Giving poor people great amount of money can’t help them because they could consume all those money. You only need to give them inspiration and burning desire to get rich. On this way, they will acquire great wealth that they can manage because of the inspiration that you gave to them. But in order to give inspiration to the poor people, you need to become rich. If they see you as a rich person, you can inspire them to become rich also.

Watching Fireworks display at Mall of Asia (MOA)

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

Today, February 21, 2010, Miraflor Daque and I went to Mall of Asia to watch the fireworks display. We enjoyed watching fireworks display that lasts for about 2o minutes. I think there are at least 10 countries(correct me if I’m wrong) who participated on that firework display which was started to hold at MOA in the first Sunday of February.  I think the event will be held every Sunday of February 2010. Another fireworks display will be held on February 28, 2010. I am looking forward to watching it. :)

Searching Pacific Place at Pearl Drive

Sunday, February 21st, 2010

On February 21, 2010 7PM, I helped my sister to find the Pacific Place building in Ortigas Center. She’s looking for that building because she has interview in that place on February 22, 2010 Monday. From Edsa Shangri-La Shaw Blvd, we walked straight until we reached One San Miguel Avenue. We turned left to enter One San Miguel  Avenue. We walked in One San Miguel Ave. and turned right (Lourdes Ave.). We saw a very nice hotel and its name is Richmonde Hotel. We walked in Lourdes Avenue and turned left (Pearl Drive). We walked in Pearl Drive until we saw the Pacific Place building in Ortigas Center, Pasig City, Philippines.

I helped my sister on how to find that place so that she can find it tomorrow (Monday) when she will attend her interview with QCHuman Resources.

What are you doing during your spare time?

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

I would like to ask you: What are you doing during your spare time?

If you’re going to ask me this question, these are my answers:

I used my spare time to read self-help book and developing web application tools using PHP and MySQL.

I continuously read self-help books because I love their contents. Self-help books help me to improve myself. Self-help books teach me what to do whenever I face different kind of situations.

I also develop web applications because I love computer programming. It’s a mental exercise for me. I replaced playing chess with programming as my hobby.

If I’m going to ask you the question above, what would be your answer? Please feel free to leave your answers in my comment box below.

The Master Mind

Monday, January 18th, 2010

W. Clement Stone wrote “Success Through Positive Mental Attitude” book. He highlighted the 17 success principles that will help a man to live happy, healthy and wealthy.

The Master Mind is the sixth success principle. I love this principle because I observed that most successful people applied this principle. Some applied this principle intentionally and some applied this principle unintentionally. I’m a 24 year old man. I wanted to prove this success principle by implementing this to my plans and ideas to reach my goals.
