A woman killed by a robber at MRT Shaw Station today.
I was on my way to work a while ago. When I arrived at one of the entrances of MRT Shaw station, I was surprised because there were a lot of people there and the said entrance was temporarily closed. I asked the people what happened and they said that a woman was killed by a robber. The robber used his gun to shoot the victim. The exact place of that event is near the EDSA Shaw footbridge. It happened in the ladder/stairway that is connected to MRT Shaw station.
The robber has a negative mental attitude. So when you encounter these robbers, just give what they want and let them go away instead of risking your life by fighting them. One of the things you can do is to remember their face and report it immediately to the police.
I feel sad for what happened to the young woman (about 20+ years old). Maybe this woman didn’t give his bag or belongings to the robber because something important to her is in the bag.
